We focus on what matters most to us, simply delicious food cooked with seasonal British & European ingredients served in relaxed surroundings.

  • “This busy, intimate spot is the sort of restaurant everyone would love to have at the end of their street.”

    Michelin Guide

  • “I was so happy with my first two courses that I ordered pudding. And I never order pudding”.

    Giles Coren

  • "I was served a bowl of calm, pale, oddly orgasmic celeriac velouté, which featured a small central island of poached smoked haddock and seasoned Jersey royals, littered with tobiko fish eggs. The velouté had such depth and the spud and fish so perfectly perched, both were sublime in their own right.”

    Grace Dent, Evening Standard

  • "Bang for buck, given the size of the restaurant and its prices? Lorne can’t be beaten!”

Lorne is Katie’s first restaurant. She started as a sommelier at Chez Bruce, The Square and The River Café before opening Lorne in 2017. Katie says that “it’s more than just delicious food… It’s a neighbourhood restaurant where people come to enjoy a warm, welcoming experience that lifts their spirits and makes them want to return time and time again”.
